BBF2001 LAN71 B.B. Facing mill complete with facer, drawbolt, compression spring & spacer. Draw bolt and compression spring are on the right hand side of the facing holder and the cutter is at the bottom of the photo. The cutter is held by two set screws and once the holder is positioned on the tap arbors, the draw bolt and compression spring are placed into the 22mm. socket in the top of the facer body and the bolt is tightened onto the tap arbor. The LAN71 bottom bracket facing mill complete with cutter includes one compression spring, one 14mm. aluminum spacer and one arbor draw bolt which secures the mill body to the bottom bracket tapping arbors (not included with the facer - are included with b.b. tapping unit). The facing holder is machined from solid 1000 series steel round stock and has a black oxide finish. The cutter is blanked from M2 high speed tool steel, hardened to HRC 63 and then precision ground by McKenzie Tool Grinding of Portland, Oregon.
